Jesus the Way

SCRIPTURE

"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.'" — John 14:6 (NKJV)

TODAY'S DEVOTIONAL

Thomas asked Jesus how they could know the way when they did not know where He was going. Jesus answered not with a map or a set of directions but with a declaration about Himself: I am the way. He did not point to a path — He declared that He Himself is the path. To follow Jesus is not merely to adopt His teachings or emulate His example; it is to walk in union with a living Person who is Himself the route from where you are to where God intends you to be. The way is not a method — it is a relationship.

In a world full of competing voices, ideologies, and spiritual pathways, this declaration is both exclusive and liberating. It is exclusive because there is no other route to the Father. It is liberating because it means you do not need to figure out the way yourself — you simply need to stay close to Jesus. When you do not know which direction to turn, when the road ahead is unclear and the choices are overwhelming, the Way is standing right beside you. You do not need a map; you need to stay with Him.

Call on Jesus today as the Way. Let Him navigate what you cannot navigate. Let Him be the path through the wilderness, the bridge over the impossible gap, and the road through the valley you did not expect to walk. The Way never gets lost, never takes a wrong turn, and never leads His people into a place He has not already prepared for them. He is the Way — and He is walking with you today.
