FATHERLESS | MOTHERLESS | ORPHANS | CHILDREN OF DISABLED PARENTS ASSISTANCE PROGRAM 

No child should be left behind due to poverty, disability or loss of parent(s). A child should not struggle with hopelessness and despair because his/her parent could not afford the basic supplies or afraid to ask parents to provide the minimum required materials to go to school.  Our goal is to conduct back to school backpack event every year to provide orphans, fatherless kids, motherless kids children of disabled parents with school supplies, so they can start each school year with the tools to be successful and school uniforms. Just basic needs go a long way. 

Ministry of Hope Worldwide supports Haven of Hope to reach their goal to build a safe haven for orphans and young teenagers. All housed in a home called Haven of Hope

Due to lack of child welfare programs in certain nations, no foster care program in place and high poverty level.It is sometimes difficult for an orphan, to continue education after the death of his/ her parents.In the event, close relatives are not able to take care of these orphans.They are admitted into the institution (Home). To provide basic care and education.These are children who for any reason cannot be cared for by biological families. For example, Parents are diseased, have mental illness or parents are critically disabled. Secondly, we are in the era where, when a teenager finds out she is pregnant, automatically drops out of school. Some, due to the fear of shame they may face, they would rather abort the baby. Purpose is to provide support and basic needs  to  pregnant teens. In order to encourage them not to abort their babies and also continue their education. Note, Haven of Hope is not an adoption agency.

WIDOWS EMPOWERMENT PROJECT

The main goal is to empower the widows in the community; by so doing they can have sustainable income to help the children listed above. We believe in teaching them how to fish would be better than giving them fish always. For 2019 we are distributing food items and giving them some money to help bring the joy of Christmas to their homes {see our gallery below for pic}.  One of the ways we empower these widows is by contracting the "School Meal Program" sponsored by Ministry of Hope Worldwide; they cook and serve the meals to the kids and we pay them that their services.
